Chef for a day We run cookery days on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays where you can experience cooking and shopping French style.
The format of the day is a morning visit to one of the great local markets to buy our produce, bread baking, and in the afternoon cook a three or more course dinner for the rest of the guests staying here.
We focus on fresh seasonal ingredients, and can adapt our menus to suit your skills, interest, or dietary requirements, whatever they may be. The idea is to have fun, and we aim for a relaxed and enjoyable experience with plenty of hands on activity.
To give you an idea here are some of the dishes we have done this year :
Apricot strudels Beetroot and goat cheese ravioli Stuffed rabbit loin Focaccia bread Mediterranean style red mullet Poppy seed tart Tarte Tatin Duck three ways Shellfish feast (6 to 8 different types, bought from the boats that morning) Cuttlefish ink pasta
The price per participant is 120 euros, which includes everything except accommodation.
Contact us to find out more, and we can put together an experience just for you.
