If you like good food you will feel at home here.

We serve a generous, good quality breakfast with (usually) home baked bread, italian coffee, proper tea, hot chocolate, jams and honey, cereals, fresh fruit, local apple juice, yoghurt.

Our evening meals are really what staying here is all about (check out our reviews). We keep it simple and informal - it’s home not restaurant cooking after all - and always use the very best produce we can find, and we shop for ingredients almost every day. We try to serve the kind of food that you might wish to stumble across in a tiny country restaurant, but that is sadly all too rare these days. Fortunately for us the local markets are brimming with top quality locally grown vegetables, meat, fish, seafood, and cheese.
Example menus can be seen here. And a picture gallery here.

Spacious and comfortable dining roomP1000107

The table extends to seat 10 or 12, and the dining room has double french doors on both sides to the front and rear gardens. On colder mornings and evenings we light the wood burning stove.

Most evenings we serve a three course meal, plus a cheese board. Wine, beer or cider, plus an aperitif should you wish, are included in the price. Vegetarians are always welcome -

We can meet (within reason and budget) any dietary requirement, particular likes /dislikes etc - just ask when you book.

We make no charge for smaller children (under 10 or so), either to eat with the adults, or for a simple dish beforehand.
